Weight-Loss Diet Pills Recall Urged For Serious Health Risks

The US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) alerted people not to purchase, or use,  25 different weight loss products  to lose body fat because they contain undeclared, active pharmaceutical drugs that may put users health at risk.

Drug tainted Weight-Loss Diet products listed are:

The FDA analysis found that the undeclared active pharmaceutical drug ingredients in some of these weight-loss products, include a controlled substance, a drug not approved for marketing in the United States, an anti-seizure medication, and a solution used in chemical experiments, and a suspected cancer causing agent.

Some of the amounts of active pharmaceutical ingredients found in these weight loss diets far exceeded the FDA-recommended levels, putting unsuspecting consumers’ health at risk, as they desperately hope to lose 10 pounds weightoss, simply lose belly fat.

These weight loss diet products listed, contain potentially harmful ingredients not listed on the product labels or in promotional advertisements, are illegal and may be potentially harmful to unsuspecting consumers.

The health risks posed by these weight loss diet products can be serious, and can cause high blood pressure,  seizures,  tachycardia, palpitations,  heart attack or stroke.

Another ingredient drug in some of the weight-loss diet products listed, has been associated with increased risk of depression and suicidal thoughts and has been linked to five deaths and 720 adverse reactions in Europe over the last two years.

The FDA WARNS consumers who have used any of these weight loss diets, to stop taking them and consult their healthcare professional immediately.

The Food and Drug Administration encourages users to seek guidance from a Healthcare Professional, before purchasing weightloss diet products.
